Casiotone For the Painfully Alone Halloween.
I wanted to hold off on super gushing over Casiotone For the Painfully Alone until Saturday, when I am seeing him (or them, don’t know if it’s full band or not), but the flawless Daytrotter posted an encore session from CFTPA, with backing band the Donkeys. I would just leave it be, but mother fucker went ahead and played my favourite song he wrote, “New Year’s Kiss”. Apparently he says people think it sounds like a Pavement song. I don’t see it, but I loves me some Pavement so it’s entirely possible. So check all of that out here, it’s wonderful as always.

Happy Halloween! I think I’m taking it easy tonight, due to low funds and a huge weekend of activities taking me to 3 different states, but go out and have fun. Seems like you can find your friends playing a show in any state tonight. Or just have a pint with a buddy. Can’t top that. I’ll just watch the tele, enjoying all the old school Halloween episodes of my favourite shows, maybe go out for a pint later on or even get some work done. Low key is my favourite of keys.
